Swarbrick Software, Inc. – Who Are We?
Swarbrick Software is a software development and tech support company, based in Phoenix, Arizona. We have been in business since 1998. We have developed failover software that protects network servers in a business environment. Our flagship product, SOS Standby Server, is in use by banks, insurance companies and both large and small businesses around the world. Mark Swarbrick is president of Swarbrick Software. Prior to beginning his own company, he worked as an IT consultant for IBM, Honeywell, AT&T, Bank One, Wells Fargo, American Express, as well as both federal and state governments. In 1998 he was contracted by the Arizona Attorney General’s Office as an Expert Witness in a court case concerning a failed computer network.
Mr. Swarbrick has also been employed as an Internet Security Consultant for Wells Fargo Bank, analyzing the security protocols on the bank’s networks. For the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality he was contracted to perform an independent analysis of Internet and network inbound and outbound security and to prepare a written report of findings and recommendations.
Mr. Swarbrick is a certified network engineer and holds a Microsoft Education Certificate. He attended the University of Illinois and studied Cisco Networking at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. He continued his education in computer programming at New Mexico Junior College. At Training Solutions, a Microsoft and Novell certified training center, he studied Novell networking and Microsoft TCP/IP networking.
